FDA Now Checking Import Documentation At Customs

If you are an importer of tobacco, you’d better have all your necessary compliance documents ready for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration at customs. Failure to do so could result in a serious holdup, meaning that manufacturers and importers will have to wait until the FDA agents are satisfied with the documentation before it releases the cigars to its rightful owners.
